However, deciding which realtor to work with is no easy task, and there are things to consider before taking the leap and contracting with one. For example, are they reputable? Unfortunately, there are plenty of real estate agents in Austin who practice shady real estate tactics. Not this gal.

Relationships are at the center of what I do, which is why I have built my real estate practice exclusively from referrals. If you do not feel confident, comfortable, and secure during the buying and selling process, then I’m not doing my job. My mission is your peace of mind.

Hi there. I’m Kristi Krauss, Austin realtor.

I’ve been handling residential real estate transactions in Austin, TX since 2007. Over the years, I’ve watched this “college-town” explode into today’s Austin-metro area. I’ve worked every aspect of the industry all over Austin, representing buyers, sellers, and investors in the real estate market.

So what makes me different from other Austin realtors? Well, for one, a gardening enthusiast. If you have a green thumb, I’ll help you find the perfect home to grow your hobby. I’m also a math nerd. That’s right; I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mathematics. From there, I crunched numbers for some of the corporate giants - Disney, Sears, and Cox - before exiting corporate life to earn my real estate license.

As a numbers person, you can be sure my clients have the best data available, so every buying decision is based on facts, not emotion. I bring integrity, energy, hard work, and creative service to every detail of the real estate transaction. And I’m not alone - over the years, I have assembled a solid real estate support team. I've been working in Austin real estate since 2004, and you can trust me when I say A LOT has changed in this city since then. I've seen new neighborhoods crop up overnight, and old neighborhoods become "new" again. I've watched North and South Austin become the new "Central Austin" - and a city skyline transform. But, honestly, what hasn't changed is the uniqueness of the city. Call it Texas hospitality, but no matter how many people move to Austin, the friendliness remains. People still smile and greet each other on the street, and natives and transplants alike are proud to call this unique city their home.
